Vice President U Myint Swe receives Independent Commission of Enquiry

Vice President U Myint Swe received the Independent Commission of Enquiry and members led by Ambassador H.E. Rosario Manalo at the Envoys Hall of the Presidential Palace
yesterday afternoon.
At the meeting matters relating to commission’s field visit and action taken, activities of ARSA terrorist group, status of preparations made to receive returnees, status of cooperation with UNDP and UNHCR, works conducted by the State for Rakhine State stability and development and future works were discussed and views exchanged.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister for Ministry of State Counsellor’s Office U Khin Maung Tin, Deputy Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement U Soe Aung, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Permanent Secretary U Myint Thu and officials while Ambassador H.E. Rosario Manalo was accompanied by Independent Commission of Enquiry members U Myint Thein, Ambassador H.E. Mr. Kenzo Oshima, Prof. Dr. Aung Tun Thet and officials.
